Dear Veteran,
We invite you to join us for our 4th Annual Veterans Day Celebration. Washington, DC
recognized Dawson County, Georgia as the 2008 Veterans Day Regional Site. We will pay
tribute to you, our men and women who bravely served our country. We promise you a day of
celebration, fellowship and honor on November 11, 2008.
We will begin with a private lunch for our Veterans & Spouses at the Dawson County Middle
School at 1:30 pm. We will begin lining up for the parade at 2:30 pm and our formal ceremony
will begin at 4:00 pm at the Dawson County Middle School.
Additionally, we will pay tribute to our men and women who are actively serving in the military,
our Law Enforcement, Firefighters and Emergency Medical Personnel.
Men and women, you served us with honor, dignity and bravery. Please allow us to show our
gratitude by completing the bottom portion of this letter and return it no later than October
